This month's issue comes with very pretty tote bag.

YUZUKO BOOK

I love Yuzuko. He does the sweetest little illustrations. This is his latest book, filled with ideas for making cute notebooks.

Such simple sketches. Must try to find time to make a notebook like this.

BAG, BOOK & MOOK

I made this shoulder bag which came in kit form with a Cath Kidston craft book.
I love Cath Kidston fabric - so old fashioned and English.

This bag and purse came with the Anteprima Mook.

The Mook contains all Anteprima's latest products. I especially love their "shoeses"!

How about spending 294,000 yen for their My Melody bag?

I love this one - Handmade Shops in Japan Guide...do I love anything more?

I'm definitely going to visit these shops during my next trip.

La Droguerie is definitely on my list.

FLOODS IN QUEENSLAND

I live just south of Brisbane where the devastating floods are at the moment, so luckily my home has not been affected.

I was sad to see so many places in Brisbane where I have been recently destroyed by the floods. Above and below photos are of the U2 concert held at Suncorp Stadium last month.
Now, under metres of water.

My local supermarket has run out of fresh food due to the floods.

It's truly heartbreaking when you consider how many people have lost their lives and home.

A Japanese bakery has just opened at my local shopping centre, Helensvale Westfield. Something exciting on the Gold Coast at last!
An hilarious puffer fish cake.

They have a large variety of desserts, breads and cakes. Takes me back to my holiday in Tokyo.

My next trip to Japan is coming up soon - can't wait!
