RETRO BAG

I made this retro looking bag with Ikea fabric.  I love the bright colours.  The pattern came from this new book which I am in love with.  It contains patterns for clothes and bags made from Liberty fabric.  I'm aiming to make all of them.
In Australia, Liberty fabric costs about $56.00/m, so I'm hoping I can buy it cheaper in Tokyo when I am there later this year.

Amy Butler top

I haven't made myself clothes for maybe 15 years, but I fell in love with this Amy Butler fabric, so I decided to try out a pattern from a Cotton Friend magazine.

I love Amy Butler's latest fabric range - I think I'll make some more.

I have a SMALL addiction

I've tried to beat my addiction to Japanese magazines, but I just keep relapsing.

If anyone would like to see what's inside any of these, leave a comment.

Also, for any Australians, Jetstar is having a sale on flights to Japan - so cheap - so get on your laptop and book one now! I'm going in a few months time. So happy!

Pudding Fruit Parfait

Thank you so much to all the lovely people who have left nice comments on my blog recently. It's been really good to meet you. After a bad day at work, I am now going to read all of your blogs and find out what cosmopolitan and exciting lives you lead in different parts of the world. That will put me in a good mood again!

Here's a little beaded charm I made on the weekend.

BIG HEAD small body

I made this retro looking fawn with a rather enormous head.
The pretty sakura fabric is from Marunan in Shibuya, where I will be stocking up again soon.

(yay!)
