CINDERELLA'S GLASS CARRIAGE

JAPANESE ARTWORK

After four years of sitting in my cupboard, I have finally hung my Japanese artwork up. I purchased two of these from Kyoto and one from Ginza.  I had them professionally framed and had been saving a large piece of wall space for them.

Wall space is much prettier now.

Still have many other pictures to go up. I am so lazy.

SWAROVSKI AND PEARL NECKLACE.

Our Japanese friends from my son's school left Australia to relocate to Singapore today. We will really miss them. The mother has been very generous in tutoring my daughter in her Japanese studies, which has helped immensely. As a goodbye gift, I made her this necklace.

I hope we can visit them in Singapore one day. I might even squeeze in a bit of bead shopping while I'm there.

Beaded Ring

THREE STRANDED NECKLACE

I'm still making jewellery with beads I bought in Japan from 2011. I would so love to do another bead shopping trip to Japan or Singapore, but that is not on the agenda at the moment.

So, for now I live in bead fantasy land.

SWAROVSKI NECKLACE

 I made this necklace for my mother in law for Mother's Day. Sadly, I don't have a mother.

All I want for Mother's Day is a full night's sleep, without getting up twice to test blood.
