Maya 7 1/2 weeks

 Just a few more days until Maya comes home to live with us.

 The poor little thing will get no rest at our house, because we will be fighting over who gets to hold her all the time. Her fluffy coat just makes me want to scoop her up in my arms.

How could I not fall in love with this adorable little pooch? She is one special little girl.

Mickey

Yesterday was my birthday, so I went to Build A Bear for just a "look", but left with a Mickey Mouse in a Hawthorn Football Club uniform.  I don't know how that happened.

I am officially nuts.

Maya aged 7 weeks

Only one more week until we bring this sweet little fur ball home. I can see from these photos that she is going to love the outdoors. Hopefully, it will make me exercise more. Looking forward to taking her to the park for a run.

 Looks like she has already learnt the "low alert" for low blood sugar scent.

I love her so much and for the important job she will have one day of keeping my son alive.

Spinach and ricotta cannelloni.

 Thai chicken and mango salad.

 Stuffed mushroom and cauliflower and bacon fritters.

 Paleo bread sticks - these are really good!

I love living a wheat free, low carb life.



Maya aged 6 weeks

 

Chubby and Fluffy

 Maya is now 5 1/2 weeks old, so we can bring her home soon.

 She grows cuter by the day.

 Our home is now ready for the new arrival.

I hope she likes living with her new family.
