We took a very short weekend break to Sydney. A whole 2 days off work - whoopie!
We chanced upon a crowd of people outside the cinemas in George St, who were waiting for Katy Perry to arrive at her movie premiere.
My daughter is a crazy Katy Perry fanatic, and so she gave up a whole afternoon of shopping to wait in the crowd for her. She ended up standing there for 4 hours, but it was worth the wait...she took some awesome up close photos.

She's even more beautiful in real life. So glamourous.
There were plenty of grumpy tempers from the security guards and general public arriving at the cinemas to go the movies. Lots of pushing and shoving and swearing! People were all tustling to catch a glimpse of the star.
Anyways, my daughter was extremely pleased to see her idol. A nice way to end a day of shopping at Kinokuniya. Then it was back to the hotel for room service dinner.
