Quilts for Japan

A young lady in Tokyo was collecting handmade quilts for children still living in evacuation centres after the tragic earthquake and tsunami.
So I decide to make one each for a boy and a girl.

With the scraps, I made softie rabbits for something extra to cuddle.

I didn't realise how much fabric I had in the cupboard, most of it never even looked at. So now I feel happy I have put it to good use.

  1. Thanks so much for participating in Action Craft, Lisa! I really can't wait to see your quilts! :)

  2. Way to go! Those quilts look adorable and the bunnies are to die for cute. :) If only I knew how to thread a bobbin...
