ART EXHIBITION - MARIE'S JEWELLERY BOX

My daughter's art work was in a second art exhibition. Last night was the opening. Her piece is entitlled "Marie's Jewellery Box". The pieces are a fantasy interpretation of Marie Antoinette's royal jewels, all made from fake pastry, whipped cream and fruit. The jewels were encased in acrylic display boxes as if on display at a museum.

This cake was inspired by a Laduree cake inspired by Marie Antionette. It is draped with a couple of jewellery pieces; a whipped cream choker and a macaron choker.

I think my daughter has a wild imagination!
